Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia or chronic muscle spasm is a condition that commonly appears in midlife. It's symptoms are tightness in your muscles when you first wake up, aches and pains in your lower back and hip, or stiffness with morning fatigue.
Trigger Points

Trigger points are sensitive spots that cause pain when struck, heated, or cooled. You may first discover these trigger points by inadvertently pressing on them. Trigger points are common in fibromyalgia, sprains, and other muscle or joint problems.

Muscle spasms and trigger points are still a mystery to standard medicine studies. Doctors have tried novocaine, cooling sprays, muscle relaxants, and other drugs with mixed results. These treatments are often hit or miss solutions and only offer temporary relief.

Chiropractors correct vertebral subluxations which are contributing factors in chronic muscle spasms. By making sure that your spine is healthy, you ensure the proper foundation for healthy muscle and nerve function.
